Babar Azam had already given a sign of his talent in his early days of cricket that he is likely to set many records in cricket. When he had surpassed the top-ranked batsmen, Virat Kohli and Joe Root in just less than 20 matches.
Now, he has become such a player in modern cricket who never takes a rest; who never ever gets tired. Hunger for runs & thirst for records has become two of his passion which the world of cricket has seen so far. No wonder that he broke the record of fastest 14 centuries in the third Eng vs Pak ODI! The record century came after the consecutive failures in the first two ODIs of the three-ODI series against England’s second-string side led by Ben Stokes.
Century number 14 for Babar Azam in ODIs, becomes the fastest in the history of the game, as per innings.

Many Great Cricketers are Wintenssing Babar Azam’s Talent
Likes of Virat Kohli, Hashim Amla, and many great cricketers are witnessing Babar Azam’s talent and what he has there in his cricketing stuff. He outclassed them in the previous game against England where he managed to score his 14th One Day International ton in just his 81st inning. He surpassed the ex-South African opener, current Indian skipper, dangerous Australian opener, and the current wicketkeeper-batsman of the South Africa team.

Second Pakistan captain to score an ODI century on English soil
Azam also became the second Pakistan captain to score an ODI century on English soil. Only Imran Khan had previously hit a century in England when he registered an unbeaten 102 against Sri Lanka in World Cup 1983. This also makes Azam the first-ever Pakistan skipper to score an ODI century against England in England.

Having eight fifty-plus scores in England now, the Pakistani skipper also broke Mohammad Yousuf and Zaheer Abbas’s record of most fifty-plus ODI scores in the format touring England. The third-wicket partnership of 179 runs between him and Mohammad Rizwan is now the highest partnership for any wicket by Pakistan against England. His 158-run knock is the highest score by a Pakistan batsman against England in ODIs. The previous best belonged to Fakhar Zaman who scored 138 in World Cup 2019.
With his last two incredible innings at Edgbaston, he has shown how you can make any country your home in terms of making runs. No matter where he plays, he scores and keeps moving. This is what we can expect from a great cricketer.
